Here’s a video of what happened yesterday in KidStuf.  It was a fun morning!!

Yesterday I went to the Harrisburg Senators game (10:30am game – they have these about once a month when they have a big trip ahead of them, that way they can get out of town early).  My friend Rick had two tickets for us right on top of the home dugout.  AWESOME seats.

So, in preparation for the game, I decided to look on their website.  While looking, I noticed that it was SUPERHERO day and that they were encouraging everyone to come dressed as a superhero.  I’m not into wearing too many costumes, especially when it was to be a sunny day in the 70′s.

But I do like balloons, so I decided to make some superhero hats.  Here’s what I cam up with and what we wore.  Oh yeah, I think we were the ONLY ones who had anything to do with superheros, other than those who work there.  But, by wearing these, we did get up on the BIG Screen in the outfield and were selected to play a game and won some gift certificates to Red Robin!

Since Mechanicsburg School District is cancelled today, that means that we don’t have KidJam tonight. I’m bummed!!

Our next KidJam will be on Wednesday, March 2 at 6:30pm.

This month at church the kiddos are learning about Determination – deciding it worth it to finish what you’ve started.  I’ve communicated to the kids that I was going to practice determination by trying to learn a new trick on my chinese yo-yo.  I’m trying to learn how to have it loop around my arm.
