Technology is Pretty Cool
Posted by: | CommentsI just have to say that technology can be pretty cool!
Right now, I have Steve Fee and his band playing a live concert on UStream.tv. They are singing some of their new songs from their latest CD which will be released October 6th.
Fee’s song “We Shine” is probably my favorite worship song right now (and it has been for about a year or so).
What’s cool about this online concert is that it’s done with a small camera (and it looks like it’s not a super high quality one) and it looks like they have their guitars and mics going into a little mixer.
It looks like they are in someone’s living room and there are over 550 viewing it right now. How cool is that!
For the past few Sunday nights, I’ve also been “attending” worship at Nothpointlive.tv
Tomorrow, there are more than 8,500 church leaders attending a free leadership conference called THE NINES
Anyway, just some things that came to mind tonight!
Summer Pictures!

Busy Week
Posted by: | CommentsThis is a SUPER busy week! Lot’s of stuff to get ready for the beginning of the ministry year! …. plus, my computer won’t print to our main printer – ugh!! But I’m doing what I can to get things done.
Tomorrow night (Thursday) is our Open House at church. It’s a great time for kids to meet their small group leaders and to have fun playing. Families are asked to bring a side dish and/or dessert. We’ll provide the hot dogs and drinks.
Here’s a link to the newsletter I’ve been working on:
